Procedura per riconoscimento della posizione dei tmps (Tire-pressure monitoring system<\/em>) pneumatici dopo la rotazione. Non \u00e8 una procedura di riprogrammazione dei sensori a seguito di sostituzione per guasto o batteria sensore esaurita. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

NOTA<\/strong>: Non \u00e8 la procedura di azzeramento errore TMPS per pressione troppo bassa: minore di 0,5bar. Se la pressione raggiunge valori pari a 1,5 bar o minori si accende l’allarme sul cruscotto, gonfiando la ruota si cancella in automatico l’ allarme. Nel caso in cui la pressione scenda sotto 0,5bar gonfiando il pneumatico \u00e8 necessario eseguire la stessa procedura per la variazione della pressione pneumatico davanti-dietro per carico nel bagagliaio poich\u00e8 l’ allarme non si cancella in automatico. Bisogna:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Engage the parking brake and inflate all tires<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Turn ignition to the ON position<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Radio ON position<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Press MENU button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Choose IMPOSTAZIONI VEICOLO<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Choose CONTROLLO PNEUM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. PRESS and DON’T release the button OK<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Wait the END procedure (see low bar in progress )<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Manual relearn procedure (standard ignition):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Engage the parking brake and inflate all tires<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Turn ignition to the OFF position<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Press and release brake pedal<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Quickly turn the ignition from OFF to RUN (engine OFF) three times, stop in RUN position<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Press and release brake pedal<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Turn ignition OFF<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Quickly turn the ignition from OFF to RUN (engine OFF) three times, stop in RUN position<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • NOTE: All the steps for this process must be performed with 10 seconds<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A single horn chirp will indicate the relearn mode is active<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Use your TPMS tool to activate the left front sensor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A single horn sounds to indicate sensor learning successful<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Repeat for the right front, right rear and left rear sensors<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • TRAINING MODE COMPLETE will display on the message centre when relearn is finished<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Manual relearn procedure (push-button start):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Important note, some models require the start button to be pressed twice (without pressing the brake) to enter RUN mode (Ignition ON\/Engine OFF). If this is the case, modify steps 3 and 5 as noted.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Engage the parking brake and inflate all tires<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • With the vehicle OFF, push and release the brake pedal<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Push START button 5 times (NOTE: 8 times if 2x-to-RUN)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Press and release the brake pedal<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Push START button 6 times (NOTE: 9 times if 2x-to-RUN)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • A single horn chirp will indicate the relearn mode is active<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Use the tool to activate the left front sensor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • A single horn sounds to indicate sensor learning successful<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Repeat for the right front, right rear and left rear tires<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • TRAINING MODE COMPLETE will display on the message center when relearn is finished<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Troubleshooting tips<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

          • Lowering the driver\u2019s side window may help to complete this process on larger vehicles. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Ford Expedition vehicles may require the start button to be pressed twice during the relearn (without pressing the brake) to enter into RUN mode during the relearn (Ignition ON\/Engine OFF). If this is the case, modify steps the manual steps for the push-button start relearn, 3 and 5, as noted in the relearn procedure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
